Release Date and Global Parity
July 31, 2026. Vendetta releases in both English and Simplified Chinese simultaneously. This is the first time Riftbound has achieved true global release parity.
For Australian players this means no waiting. No watching international players crack packs for months before you can. No price spikes driven by import shortage. When Vendetta releases, you buy it at Australian retail on the same day as players in the US, Europe, and China.
This is a meaningful shift. Origins launched in China months before English. Spiritforged followed the same pattern. Unleashed had the gap close to weeks. Vendetta closes it entirely. Riot is treating the global player base as one market, which bodes well for the long-term health of the Australian competitive scene.
What "Vendetta" Suggests
The name implies a reckoning, a score being settled. In League of Legends lore terms, this points toward champions driven by vengeance or rivalry. Riot has not officially confirmed which new Legends are in Vendetta as of the time of writing. Preview season is expected to start in late June 2026.

Each Riftbound set has added 4-5 new Champion Legends to the roster.
