The 32 players who earned the most points across the season also receive paid flights and hotel for the trip.
The card pool going in
The main event uses Premier Constructed on the Sets 4 to 7 card pool, meaning Ashes of the Empire, released 17 July, is not tournament legal for this weekend's main event. Recent Planetary Qualifiers on that same pool have seen leaders like Lando Calrissian, Leia Organa, Mother Talzin, Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi consistently making top standings. Expect the winning decklist to be built on cards that have already proven themselves over months of Qualifier play rather than anything brand new.
Defending the title
Filip Szkudlarek won the first ever Galactic Championship in 2025, and Season One of Organized Play has been building toward this weekend as its natural conclusion. Season Two starts once this event wraps, so the result here effectively resets the clock for everyone chasing next year's invite.
Beyond the main event
Away from the Top 8 chase, the Premier Open runs as a two day side tournament that doesn't require any Qualifier Points to enter, and it still awards prize wall tickets and points toward next season's Championship. The Eternal Open gives players a separate side event outside the current Premier pool entirely. Between the main event, side tournaments and the usual meet ups, merchandise and activities, the weekend is built to have something for competitors and casual attendees alike.
