MTG EV Calculator — Australia
MTG Streets of New Capenna released April 2022 with a 1920s crime family theme across five families each representing a three-colour combination. The Art Deco showcase treatment is one of the most visually distinctive in recent MTG history. Several Commander staples and competitive format cards maintain AU secondary market demand. Expected value (EV) in TCG is calculated by multiplying the pull rate of each card rarity by the average secondary market value of cards in that rarity tier, then summing across all cards in a pack and multiplying by the number of packs you are opening.
For Australian players, we use AUD-denominated prices sourced from the Australian secondary market rather than USD TCGPlayer prices, which can differ by 15 to 30 percent after currency conversion and import costs. Our AUD values are based on recent eBay Australia sold listings for cards in each rarity tier.

Streets of New Capenna brought a fresh aesthetic to MTG with its Art Deco showcase treatment and 1920s crime family theme. The five families each represent a three-colour combination (Brokers, Obscura, Maestros, Riveteers, Cabaretti) and their legendary leaders have maintained Commander demand. Jetmir Nexus of Murders and Ob Nixilis the Adversary are key mythics. The Art Deco showcase frames are highly sought after by collectors due to their distinctive visual style. As a 2022 set, secondary market pricing is settled.
If you are primarily interested in specific singles rather than the experience of opening packs, buying singles on eBay AU will almost always give better value than box EV suggests, because you pay only for the cards you actually want.
